Requirement To Maintain The Da 348 And 348-E

Okay I am trying to get a survey or a great answer to the following question.

I was gigged on a COMET Insp for not having the hard copy DA form 348. The reasoning was that the Manual has a signature on it and the -E does not. I am so trying to keep a cool head about this. Why are we staying in the 60's while trying to maintain the 2000s? If it is a signature how hard is it to sign the 348-E or how about this update the 348-E with a digital signature? or the GCSS when it comes out?

Husky Mk Iii Recovery Procedures

I'm with a Route Clearance Company. I was recently directed to structure a recovery class (towing the Husky) using the HEMTT 984 or the new MRV M1249. There has been many issues towing or recovering the Husky. But after doing some research there isnt much on recovery procedures pertaining to the Husky itself, to much for the other MRAPS but not the Husky. This vehicle is put together by modules and if one is destroyed or damage you now have to tow it by the hull brackets using the A-frames or lift and place in a flatbed. Well it seems that hardly no recovery team seem to have the A-frames. So we end up jerry rigging and adding aditional damage to the vehicle due to improper towing procedure. Just asking if any one has aditional information pertaining to this topic can you please share your experiences or a lesson addressing the Husky vehicle.

Thank you

Ltatv Kawasaki Teryx 4X4 2009

Hello,

I'm having trouble diagnosing what is wrong with our Kawasaki Teryx. The F1 code does not flash but when it goes past half throttle it stumbles. I have changed sensors and check the fuel pump and all are good to the best of my ability. I'm in an SF unit and this equipment is used on patrols at times. I need it up and functional. I have looked over the manual on the vehicle and it tells you to check the throttle sensor and pretty much all sensors. They have all been good. I even changed the ECU to see if that was it but still it does it. Spark plugs are brand new. Trust me I have done the basics many times over with no luck. Any ideas?

Mid-Level Maintenance Manager Course

Ben...it's Clay. It's been a long time, anyway, I am working as a contractor up in Alaska and want to put together a mid-level maintenance manager's course. I looked through some of the posts on here, but most were kinda dated. I was looking for something to show the process to supervisors and young officers. Not necessarily a motor sergeant type class, rather which reports are useful to them as supervisors and daily, weekly, monthly tasks that should be followed up on. Many of these guys don't understand which interfaces to set up on their SAMS-1E V1 and V2 boxes and how they feed the SAMS-2E to form the 026 print. So, if you have or run across any information or material I can use can you shoot it to me on digits: clay.d.burton.ctr@mail.mil
Any help you can give would be great...I tried to get stuff from the III Corps Troop School, but they said they are CTC and the information is proprietary...I don't understand how they take stuff from the EUM and regulation and call it proprietary, but I guess training troops the right way is somehow profitable for some.
Thanks,
